Alice Eugene Campbell-Brown was born March 20, 1949, to the late Willie Irving Campbell, Sr. and the late Annie Odell Mason-Campbell.  She departed this life on Sunday, May 26, 2019 at UAB Neuro Trauma Center, Birmingham, Alabama.  She confessed Christ at an early age and joined David's Temple PB Church in Hillsboro, Alabama.  She later joined Mt. Zion CP Church in Killen, Alabama and was a faithful Elder & Mother of the church for many years.  She then joined Trinity MB Church, Florence, Alabama were she was dedicated as the Kitchen Ministry Leader and the Church Custodian until her passing.  She retired from  ECM Hospital after 50 devoted years of service.  She continued to work as a private duty nurse for many families in the area.  Though she was the mother of four children, she helped raise several more.  Loving people was her favorite job next to cooking.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie Irving Campbell, Sr. and Annie Odell (Madea) Campbell.

Alice Brown was a "One of a Kind" woman.  She loved people without expectation.  She loved her family and friends deeply.  She never met a stranger and she never let anyone go hungry.  She loved her church family and her Pastor.  She loved cooking, shopping, traveling and spending time with her family.  You never saw her without a smile on her face.  If you were lucky enough to have gotten a hug from her, you will never forget it.  She was preparing to "really" retire, and now she does not have to worry about disappointing anyone.  Saying "No" was hard for her to do.  She was taken away so suddenly, but she can rest in peace.

Alice leaves to cherish her memories:  her husband of 26 years, Eddie Brown, Sr.; one son, Collis (Regina) Campbell of Florence, Alabama; three daughters, EuWanda (Shawn) Anderson, Little Rock, Arkansas, Alice Rochelle (Charles) Woods, and Meia (Leonard) Ricks, both of Florence, Alabama; one step-daughter, Sabrina Barnett of Florence, Alabama, two step-sons, Eddie (Ruby) Brown, Jr., Tuscumbia, Alabama and James Brown, Nashville, Tennessee; three brothers, Willie Campbell, Jr..
