Sheffield
Altha Pearl Nunery left this earth for her eternal
home on Friday, June 26, 2020. She was the fourth of ten
children born to the late Harry and Mary Ellen Long on

Pruitt, Sadie Mae Cobb, Mildred Beatrice Stewart, Mary

Altha Pearl was a life-long resident of Colbert County. Her
educational journey began in the Colbert County School
system, Mt. Pleasant and Leighton Training Schools. She
also attended Sterling High School in Sheffield, Alabama,
where she lived until her demise. She was a faithful member
of the Sterling Boulevard Church of Christ.
Pearl had a great sense of humor and was loved by those
with whom she came in contact. She was often referred
to as the pillar of the family because of her strength and
undying love for all of her family.

Martin Industries of the Shoals, where she retired. She also
did some domestic work to provide for her children.
