Mrs. Annie B. Turner of Florence, Alabama was born July 19,1938. She accepted Christ at an early age and later became a member of Mt. Moriah Primitive Baptist Church. Mrs. Annie loved family and friends, but most of all, she enjoyed church and praising the Lord. Her favorite quote was, "You better get your time in." Mrs. Annie loved to praise God as she danced up and down the aisles of the church, leaving her mark everywhere she went. She touched many in different ways. Mrs. Annie is truly a legend in the Quad-Cities. We've lost a mother, grandmother, sister and friend, but heaven has gained an angel. Mrs. Annie is preceded in death by her husband, Mr. A.J. Turner; mother, Mrs. Rebecca Bumpus; father, Grant Bumpus; son, James Turner; and grandson, Terry Garrett. Mrs. Annie B. Turner leaves to cherish her memory: one son, Willie Turner of Florence, Alabama; one daughter, Mae Sue Turner of Sheffield, Alabama; one brother, Willie Milton Bumpus of Georgia; ten grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews; and a special friend/cousin, Liza Skipworth.
