Augusta "Pa Pa" Johnson was born to the late Tommy Johnson and Idella on January 3, 1928 in Colbert County Alabama. He departed this life and transitioned to eternal peace at 11:30 on Thursday April 23, 2015. Augusta accepted Christ as his personal savior at an early age and was baptized at Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church. He was a devoted member and deacon under the leadership of Reverend W.M. Ford. He was preceded in death by his parents Tommy Johnson and Idella Vinson, his wife Annie Laura Johnson, his sister Lida. He leaves to cherish his memories one sister Maple Thompson of Flint, Michigan and 9 loving children: Barbara(Willie) Little, Michael(Bernice) Johnson, Shirley Ann(Wayne)Garner, Idella( Andrew) Wright, Emmitt Johnson, Bobby (Loretta) Johnson, Brenda(Richard)Johnson, David(Denise)Johnson, Peggy(Dwayne) Davidson;25 grandchildren; and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives.
