Mrs. Bell Fuqua, age 86, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, February 13, 2015 at approximately 7:52 p.m. at Lima Memorial Health Systems. She was born on August 11, 1928 in Florence, Alabama to the union of Jim and Melissa Jones Roach. Both parents preceded her in death. On November 8, 1943 she was united in holy matri-mony to Mr. Willie B. Fuqua, he preceded her in death on May 1, 2004. Mrs. Fuqua was a homemaker. She was a member of Hopewell A.M.E. Church in Florence, Alabama. She loved her family and enjoyed being around animals. She leaves to cherish her precious memory a son; Nelson Fuqua (Jenedder) of Lima. Grandchildren; Veronisa M. Fuqua, Melissa B. Cross, Renee Cross, Thomas L. Cross, Darwin L. Fuqua (Mellissa), Laquala N. Fuqua-Geans (Kevin), April S. Cross and Nelson M. Fuqua and Katie R Corr-Henderson (Darnell). She was preceded in death by a daughter; Virgil Cross and a brother; Rev. Frank Roach.
