MR. BOBBY ALLEN BODDIE was born on February
15, 1969, in Florence, Alabama.

Bobby accepted Christ at an early age at Mount
New Home Missionary Baptist Church of Leighton,
Alabama, where he remained a faithful member until
death.

Bobby was a loving, kind-hearted, quiet, but friendly
person.

Bobby graduated from Colbert County High School.
He attended UNA, where he received a certificate in
Leadership.

He was employed by Pilgrim Pride Poultry for 30
years and for the last four years with Wayne's Farms of
Decatur.

Bobby was preceded in death by his father, Charles
"Charlie Boy" Thompson; two sisters, Carolyn Barnett
and Varalie Smith; two brothers, William Taylor and
Charles Barnett; six uncles; two aunts; two grandfathers;
two grandmothers; and two nephews.

Bobby leaves to cherish his memory: his mother, Ms.
Patsy Clay Boddie of Tuscumbia, Alabama; nine sisters,
Wanda G., Viola S., Beverly I., Jackie H., Gwen C., Aya
T., Sharon H., Carolyn W., and Yvette E.; four brothers,
Patrick S., Devin C., Cedric T., and Keeton L.; five aunts;
three uncles; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and
other relatives.
