Carolyn Nadeen Goodloe Brown was born on June 18,
1949. God called her in powerful love to be born to Wyomia
"Page" Goodloe and Forrest Dean Goodloe in Colbert County,
Alabama, in a little town called Barton. God took her to her
sweet heavenly home on April 20, 2023. She was preceded in
death by her father, Forrest; mother, Wyomia; brother, Forrest
Jr.; sister, Dorothy; precious daughter, Terida Wyomia; loving
grandson, T.J.; sister-in-law, Betty Howard; mother-in-law,
Letitia Brown Thompson; and her grandparents, great - grandparents, aunts, and uncles.
What a sweet home filled with hugs, loves, and smiles. She
worked in the Colbert County School System for 44 years. She
loved serving in the church, working with seniors, and cooking
for her family, children, and friends. She loved working with
all the kids at school!
She was a member of Zion No. 1 Missionary Baptist Church
in Barton, Alabama. She was married to her husband, Willie
Brown, for 55 years.
She leaves a loving family to cherish her memories: her sweet
husband, Willie Brown of Barton, Alabama; loving children,
Willie E. (Charlene Penn) Brown of Muscle Shoals, Alabama,
and Tarvis D. (Ginny) Brown, Sr.; sisters, Cynthia A. Leach of
Barton, Alabama, and Mary Yvonne of Christopher, Georiga;
aunts, Frankie M. Frazier of Mississippi, and Winnie, Susie,
and Christaine, all of Michigan; grandsons, Chandler Brown,
Chase Brown, Jaxon Penn; granddaughters, Alexis Welch,
Summer Carroll (Shaquille), Sarah Welch, and Taijah Brown;
great-granddaugters, Caybre Brown, Arieon Jones, Cai'ree
Brown, and Ella Carroll; special great-grandson, Kyamani
Freeman; godchildren, Jason Page and Courtney G. Jones,
and always there in the time of need, Nikki, LaQuita, Ambria,
and Teresha; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Since God is love... she just loved all people and her family.
