Mr. Charles Terrell Thomas was born on August 24,
1978, to Clara Faye Thomas and Charles Bowens. On
Friday, March 29, 2024, Terrell departed this earthly
life at the age of 45. He confessed his life to Christ at
an early age at St. James Missionary Baptist Church,
Florence, Alabama.

Terrell was raised in Cherokee, Alabama, by Mary
Louise Thomas and the late Willie James Thomas, Jr. He
also graduated from Cherokee High School.

Charles Terrell Thomas leaves to cherish his loving
memories: his mother, Clara Childress (Vernon);
father, Charles Bowens (Janice); three sisters, LaQuinta
Thomas, Vonda Childress, and Yolanda Butler; one
brother, Anthony Betts; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces,
nephews, and cousins; many classmates; and one special
friend, Beverly Puckett.
