Mr. Dale Anthony Carter was born May 23, 1967, to the late Betty Ruth Carter Jones. He was reared by his grandparents the late Richard Howard and Mary Lee Carter. Dale or "Bud" as he was affectionately called accepted Christ at an early age and united with the Red Rock Church of Christ. He attended school in Cherokee were he excelled on the basketball court and was an excellent student. He was always smiling and joking with family and friends. He touched many lives and will be missed dearly by all that knew him.

He is preceded in death by his mother Betty Ruth Carter Jones, stepfather Bobby Jones, Uncles: Earl Ray Carter, Willie Carter, and one Aunt Minnie (George) Byrd, Father-in-law Haywood Hannah, and Cousin Mark Anthony Byrd.

He leaves to cherish his memories wife Kymberly Hannah Carter. One Brother: David Michael (Jacqueline) Carter of Mobile. Three sisters Patricia A. Carter, Valerie D. Carter of Barton, and Tonyia M. Carter of Florence. Two Nieces Kami C. Dale of Sheffield and April Carter Lewis of Albany, GA. One Uncle Charles (Shirley) Carter of Florence. Two Cousins: Stephanie Byrd of Muscle Shoals and Kwanda Carter of Florence. Brother in Law Jackie Alderson. Sister in Laws: Lisa Watson, Sophia Murphy, Angela Morton. A host of Godchildren, Cousins other relatives, and friends. Three special friends are Anthony Holmon, Vivian "Lil Sista" Jones, and Oliver Hollis.
