Obituary

Delois Parker was born June 7, 1958, to the late

John D. Parker and Mattie Parker. She departed this

life suddenly on November 17, 2019. She gave her life to

Christ at an early age at St. John P.B. Church in Florence,

AL. Until her death, she was a proud member of Trinity

M.B. Church. She was preceded in death by her brothers,

Anthony Parker and Robert Gilbert; niece, Ti-any Parker;

and twin granddaughters, Nekehia and Tekehia Gabriel.

Delois was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt

and friend. She leaves to cherish her memories: two sons,

Brian (V'Notta) Williams of Columbus, Ohio and Joshua

(Cassidy) Bates of Florence, Alabama; one daughter,

Quinacco (Robert) Phillips of Florence, AL; three

granddaughters, Ashonti Parker, Amari Gabriel, and Alera

Bates, all of Florence, AL; one grandson, Christian Proby

of Columbus, OH; one great-grandson, Khylan Parker of

Florence, AL; one sister, Teresa Parker of Birmingham,

AL; two brothers, Douglas (Karen) Parker of Augusta,

GA and Emmitt "Jack" (Sue) Reeder, Jr., of Florence, AL;

two aunts, Julia (late David) Ingram of Florence, AL and

Shirley (Essic Wooley) Butler of Detroit, MI; two uncles,

Samuel (Ruth) Barnett and Charles Barnett, both of

Florence, AL; a special friend, Eric Goodloe; and a host of

nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends
