D'Joi Elise Roy was born December 15, 2002, to Alicia Johnson and Joe Roy.

D'Joi departed her life on November 25, 2024, at North Alabama Medical Center.

D'Joi was preceded in death by Great Grandmothers: Mary Lizzie Boddie, Ella Mae Williams, Ruby Lee Gilchrist, and Cora Skipper; Great Grandfather: Richard Williams; Grandmother Carrie Roy and Grandfather Joe Luther Laffity.

D'Joi completed her education at Florence High School in 2021.

D'Joi dedicated her life to Christ on April 15, 2015, at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church.

D'Joi worked as a CNA at Mitchell Hollingworth Nursing Home. She was one of the sweetest young ladies you would ever meet. She had a smile that would light up the room. She enjoyed traveling with her friends and spending time with her nephews.
