Dwight Eugene Nunery was born August 30, 1953.  He was the fourth son born to Eliga Mays and Altha Pearl Nunery.

Dwight departed this life on February 13, 2018, after a short illness.  He was preceded in death by his father and two brothers, Major Elwood Nunery and Terry Lenard Nunery.

Dwight  attended the Sheffield City School and graduated from Sheffield High School.  He attended Alabama A & M University.  He was employed by Boddie Drywall Company for 40 years.

He leaves to cherish his memories:  his mother, Altha Pearl Nunery of Sheffield, Alabama; brothers, Larry (Barbara) Nunery of Decatur, Alabama, Kenneth Wayne Nunery, Harold Demeatris Nunery of Sheffield, Alabama, Terry (Pam) Moore, of Tuscumbia, Alabama, and Bobby (Terri) Moore of Muscle Shoals, Alabama; sisters, Shelaine Ford, Barbara More, Evonne Moore, Rosie Lee (Ivan) Hogan, Darlene Patterson, all of Sheffield, Alabama, and Kathy Febles of Tuscumbia, Alabama; and numerous aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
