Thursday May 26, 2016 Mrs. Edmonia Williams passed away at Parker Institute for Health Care and Rehabilitation in New Hyde Park, New York.
She confessed a hope in Christ at an early age with the Mt. Zion Primitive Baptist Church where she remained as a faithful member until her death.
She was united in marriage to the late Simpson Williams. They were blessed with four children. A daughter Ashebell preceded her in death.
Born March 31, 1914, Mother Edmonia Williams is the oldest member of the Mt. Zion Primitive Baptist Church. She celebrated her birthday on Wednesday, March 31, 2016, and was blessed to be 102 years of age. Mother Edmonia's faith and love is strong in God, and she continued to be devoted and caring, to the ministry and well-being of the church. Mother Williams continued to live in Rosedale, New York, and was lovingly being cared for by her daughters and other family members. We thank God for the many years of her dedication and service.
