Edward Lee Vinson, Jr. "Eddie" was born in Sheffield, Alabama on March 1st, 1966 to the late Edward Vinson, Sr. and Edna Vinson Hamilton. He was the first-born of three children. He graduated from Muscle Shoals High School in 1984, and later moved to Louisville, Kentucky, where he resided until his departure on June 7th, 2015. Eddie worked in construction for several years. He enjoyed helping others in the community, and became a handy man for many. Eddie came to know Jesus Christ as his personal savior at an early age, and united with Bethel Colbert Missionary Baptist Church in Leighton, Alabama. He had a wonderful outlook on life, and was always smiling. To cherish his memories, he is survived by his son Darius Fuqua, of Leighton, Alabama; daughters, Stephanie (Freddie)King of Tuscumbia, Alabama, and Simone Bates of Louisville, Kentucky; mother: Edna Hamilton, Muscle Shoals, Alabama; sisters: Angela Vinson, Florence, Alabama and Amanda (Gerald) Smith of Muscle Shoals, Alabama; grandchildren: Madison , Kennedy and Freddie King, Jr.; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews other relatives, and many close friends.
