Sis. Eliza Smith was born July 18, 1925, in Lauderdale County,
Alabama, to the late Lugee and Ada Gilbert Thompson. She departed
this life on May 26, 2022, at Glenwood Center Nursing Home Florence,
Alabama.

She confessed a hope in Christ in 1936 under the pastorage of Reverend
G.W. Thompson and joined the Galilee Missionary Baptist Church
Florence, Alabama where she remained faithful until her demise. She
was also a member of the Senior Choir for many years.

She was employed at Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital Florence,
Alabama for 26 years until her retirement
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lugee and Ada Thompson,
her daughter Mary Baugh Koger, siblings, Ben Thompson, Lugene
Thompson, Blanche Perkins, Mary L. Blue.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories many nieces, nephews,
cousins, other relatives, and friends.
