Obituary

Erric Falonzo Brewer was born on August 9,
1966 to Essie Lee Mitchell, of Florence, Alabama and Moses
Brewer (Gwen) of Centennial, Colorado. He went home to be
with his heavenly Father on July 17, 2020.
Erric confessed a hope in Christ and joined Bethel Cumberland
Presbyterian Church, where he served as a devoted member. He
loved singing in the choir, working in the kitchen, and visiting
the sick and shut-in.
Erric was a graduate of Co ee High School, Class of 1984. He
also attended e University of North Alabama in Florence,
Alabama and DeVry University in Atlanta, Georgia.
He was a decorated veteran of the United States Army, where he
served in Operation Desert Storm. Erric later became a driver for
UPS, and worked there for many years.
He also enjoyed spending time with his uncle, Samuel L. Brewer,
and being his caregiver.
He leaves to cherish his memory: mother, Essie Lee Mitchell of
Florence, Alabama; father, Moses Brewer (Gwen) of Centennial,
Colorado; one brother, Marques Brewer (Nataly) of Denver,
Colorado; one sister, Maya Brewer Balakier (Jason) of Denver,
Colorado; maternal aunts, Vera Crittenton of Layton, Utah,
Madgie Minor of Florence, Alabama, Jessiphine Walker of
Florence, Alabama, Martha Smith of Florence, Alabama, and
Betty Smith of Florence, Alabama; paternal aunts, Lily B. Strong
of Clinton, Maryland, and Flora D. Arnett of Saginaw, Michigan;
maternal uncle, Charles Smith of Chicago, Illinois; paternal uncle,
Samuel L. Brewer of Florence, Alabama; one niece, Josephine
Balakier of Denver, Colorado; one nephew, Sterling Balakier of
Denver, Colorado; like a sister, Shaholonie (Byron) Newsome
of Los Angeles, California; like a brother, Timothy (Tyanesha)
Anderson of Killen, Alabama and Michael Newsome of Atlanta,
Georgia; devoted cousins, Whitney Anderson of Florence,
Alabama, Jaylen Anderson of Florence, Alabama, Kyrie Rowell of
Florence, Alabama, Robbin (Sidney) Carmichael of Eight Mile,
Alabama, and Christian Newsome of Atlanta, Georgia; and a
host of other beloved relatives and friends
