Ervin Douglas Sanderfer, Jr., born on
September 7, 1982, departed this life and transitioned
into his new life on November 4, 2021.

Doug confessed his faith in Christ at an early age at
Little Elk Missionary Baptist Church. At the age of 30,
three of his children, Exavian, Elijah, and Jeremiah, got
to see their father receive his GED at Shoals Community
College. Doug's passion was art. He loved to draw and
paint. He did tattoos on several of his friends. Doug
held several jobs until his health failed him. In 2019 he
was diagnosed with rectal colon cancer.

He was preceded in death by his son, Jacorian Kyreem
Sanderfer.

He leaves to cherish his memories: parents, Ervin
Douglas Sanderfer of Athens, Alabama and Frances
Ophelia Harden Sanderfer of Rogersville, Alabama; a
sister, "Sissy" Natasha Cherrelle Sanderfer of Atlanta,
Georgia; a godsister, Malia NeTanya Jones of Florence,
Alabama; four beautiful children, Exavian Dayshon
Sanderfer (Cathlynn) of Rogersville, Alabama, Elijah
Dominique Shannon Sanderfer of Muscle Shoals,
Alabama, Jeremiah David Sanderfer Caudle of
Tuscumbia, Alabama, and Makiyah Elizabeth Paige
Sanderfer of Rogersville, Alabama; two beautiful
grandchildren, Aaliyah Gracyce Lory Sanderfer and
August Kyri Tremayne Sanderfer of Rogersville,
Alabama; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and
friends.
