Mr. Eugene Johnson was born February 26, 1946 to the late Luddie Johnson and Martha Waller Thomas. Growing up in the West Ensley Township of Birmingham, Alabama he went on to join the United States Army. He served proudly and received an honorable discharge. Amongst his many accomplishments was graduating from the University of San Francisco. He was a proud member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. He loved the Lord, people and was a member of Open Door Church in Sheffield, Alabama. He was preceded in death by two sons: Oronde Johnson and Malik Johnson.

He will be missed by all who knew him.

Eugene Johnson is survived by his wife: Andrea Silva Johnson of Muscle Shoals, Alabama. Three Sisters: Margaret Wilson of New Haven, CT. Christine Loveless of Tuscumbia, Alabama and Mary White of Birmingham, Alabama. One brother in law: John Loveless of Tuscumbia, Alabama. Two children: Maurice Lewis and Cherie Lewis.  Granddaughters:  Jordyn Johnson. He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
