Frances LeChelle Gamble Owes was born November 6, 1970, in Florence, Alabama to Linda Owes and Robert Gamble.

Shelle attended Coffee High School in Florence, Alabama. She worked in hospitality for many years throughout her life, serving others. 

To truly know Shelle, you had to be around her to get to know her. She loved to cook, eat, play spades, and listen to music. She was very silly, the life of the party, and loved to have fun and make others feel happy. She had a huge heart and was always thinking about others’ wellbeing. Her biggest love was for her family, especially her daughter and granddaughter. Shelle loved to plan get togethers with her family and friends so she could cook for them and have a good time. Shelle also loved Alabama football. (ROLL TIDE!) 

She leaves behind to cherish many fond memories: both of her parents, Linda Owes and Robert (Gail) Gamble of Florence, Alabama; one devoted daughter, Ashley (Taurean) Horton of Tuscumbia, Alabama; three brothers, Patrick Simpson of Lafayette, Indiana, Derrick (Monica) Owes of Florence, Alabama, and Josh Gamble of Florence, Alabama; one sister, Tammy (Frankie) Mullens of Florence, Kentucky; one granddaughter, Tyla Watkins of Florence, Alabama, and one grandson, Carter Crouse of Tuscumbia, Alabama; a goddaughter, Tiffani Harris of Jacksonville, Florida; a close, special friend, Teresa Barnes of Muscle Shoals, Alabama; as well as a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
