Reverend Francine McDaniel was born January 21, 1953,
to the late Lawyer Brown, Sr., and Annie Mae Brown.
She departed this life on Sunday, April 23, 2023, at UAB
Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama.
She confessed Christ at an early age and joined Mt.
Zion C.P.C.A. in Killen, Alabama. There she served
faithfully as an usher and a member of the choir. Later
she joined Bailey Springs A.M.E. Church and served as
a stewardess, taught Sunday School, and was also a local
Elder.
Francine graduated from Brooks High School. She
attended North Alabama Community College in Phil
Campbell, Alabama, where she received a Registered
Nursing Degree. She worked at Colonial Manor Hospital
and Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital where she retired
after 22 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter,
Trancine Jessica Madden; two brothers, Robert Lee
Brown and Eddie Jones Brown, Sr.; and sister, Dyona
Brown Watkins.
She leaves to cherish her memories: her two grandsons,
Jaron Madden and Kyler Madden; one great-grandson,
Carter Oxendine; one sister, Jacklyn Barnett (James) of
Florence, Alabama; two brothers, Lawyer Brown, Jr., of
Madison, Alabama, and Glenn Raye Brown (Jackie) of
Florence, Alabama; and a host of nieces, nephews, other
relatives, and friends.
