Harold was born on May 11, 1938, in Alcoa, Tennessee, to the late Columbus and Lillie Hailstock. On Sunday, March 7, 2021, God stretched his hands and said, "Come on home my well and faithful servant. I will give you rest." He professed Christ at an early age and was an Alumni of Sterling High School in Sheffield, Alabama. He was a Vietnam Veteran and honorably served his country for twenty years in the United States Army. He was a man who loved his family, especially
his grandchildren, friends, and really enjoyed fishing, gardening, and working in his wood shop. Harold was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Cecelia Goode, and brother, Richard "RV" Hailstock. He leaves to cherish his memories: two daughters, Brigitte Watkins (Dewayne) of Killen, Alabama and Shemika Wade of Chattanooga, Tennessee; son Ronald
Montgomery of Sheffield, Alabama; seven grandchildren, Rochelle Thompson-King (David) of Killen, Alabama, Jacob Thompson of Piedmont, South Carolina, Wykil Tyson, and Zyliah Wade, both of Chattanooga, Tennessee, Tiffany Bates of Birmingham, Alabama, Shemika Montgomery of Powder Springs, Georgia, and Terrance Jarmon of Tuscumbia, Alabama; two great-grandchildren, Davarius "DJ" King and Brandius "BJ" King, both of Killen, Alabama; two sisters, Othella Burt and Loretta King, both of Sheffield, Alabama; brother, Grady "GW" Hailstock of Sheffield, Alabama; and a host
of nieces, nephews, a special friend, Tanya Wade, great-nieces, great nephews, other family and friends.
