Mr. Hershell "Tony" Fields was born April 8, 1955, to the

late Arrie Fields and Lucious Fields. He departed this life September

27, 2018, at ECM Hospital, Florence, Alabama. He confessed Christ

at an early age. He was a member of the Northside Church of Christ,

Center Star, Alabama.

He was a master when it came to automotive mechanics. There was

very little that he could not diagnose and fix. Family and friends

alike relied on his ability to fix their automobiles. He was employed

at Shoals Tire for many years.

He also was a master when it came to grilling for holidays or just

when he felt like firing up the grill. He was kind and mild-mannered.

He treated everyone with kindness.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Lisa Barton; parents,

Lucious and Arrie Fields; two brothers, Curtis Fields and Lucious

Fields; and sister, Adell Davidson.

Among those who will carry his memory are: sons, Mr. Leon

(Arkethia) Fields of Killen, Alabama, Mr. Remero (Demerta)

Fields of Trinity, Alabama, and Justin Evans of Mobile, Alabama;

daughters, Sherica Fields, Latitia Cowan, and Tonya Wiggins of

Decatur, Alabama; brother, Mr. J.C. Fields of Florence, Alabama;

sisters, Ms. Sadie Fields, Mrs. Olivia Harrison of New York City,

and Ms. Emma Fields of Killen, Alabama; uncle, Mr. Walter Harden

of Killen, Alabama; aunt, Mrs. Ida Lou Ingram of New York City;

brothers-in-law, Mr. Earl Davidson of Tuscumbia, Alabama, and Mr.

Calvin Harrison of New York City; ten grandchildren, and a host of

nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends
