Ilisa Iranette
Perkins
May 31, 1971 — May 1, 2022
Florence
Ms. Ilisa Iranette Perkins
was born on Monday, May
31, 1971. She answered her call to go home and be with Lord on
Sunday, May 1, 2022.
Sister Perkins accepted Christ at an early age and joined the First
Missionary Baptist Church of Florence. She later joined Bethel
Lauderdale Missionary Baptist Church of Florence where she was
a faithful member until her death.
Lisa, lovingly called "Big Leema," was an excellent cook and had
the best fried fish in the South. She loved to dance and spend
time with family. When at family gatherings, you could find her
"in the way," always the jokester. Lisa would light up a room with
her bright smile, grinning as she walked through the door. Her
laugh was infectious causing everyone to roar in laughter. She was
a loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and cousin.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Wanda "Peppa" Key.
She leaves to cherish her memories: one son, Darrell DaShon
Perkins of Florence, Alabama; parents, Linda and David Harden
of Florence, Alabama; one brother, Arcardio Morrez Harden of
Florence, Alabama; sisters, Deannaca (Gavin) LaTese Golatte
of Atlanta, Georgia, Ursula Key, Gloria Kinard, and Kay (Earl)
Foster, all of Florence, Alabama; very special friends, Jan and
Vern Wright of Killen, Alabama, Arthur, and Barbara Goodwin of
Leighton, Alabama; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles,
cousins, and friends.
