Jesse Lee Turner was born August 19, 1961, to Jessie LuElla Newsome

and the late Percy White. He departed this life on May 3, 2019.

Jesse received Christ at an early age and joined Mt. Moriah Primitive Baptist

Church. He attended Bradshaw School. He worked at IB-Tech as a machine

operator for the last four years. His hobbies included watching sports of all

types, little league pitcher in his youth, and playing basketball.

Jesse was a devoted husband, father, uncle, and son. He shared his wisdom

with those he was close to.

Jesse was preceded in death by his father, Percy White; his sister, Aurtherine

Armstead; his grandmother, Katie Key Adams; uncles, Eddie Lee (Wilodean)

Adams, and James "Jack" Adams.

Jesse leaves to cherish his memories: his devoted wife of 19 years, Margaret

Gregory Turner; his loving mother, Jessie Newsome; his devoted sister,

Katie (Milton) Nance; one son, Jason McDaniel; two daughters, Aretha

Davis and Caprina; five stepsons, Carl, Louis Jr., Emanuel, Paul, and

Kelvin; a special loving aunt, Mary (Edward) Dixon; aunt, Vanessa Adams;

two grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; one brother-in-law, Donnie

Armstead, Sr.; four sisters-in-law, Mary (Al) Matthews of Montgomery,

Alabama, Sharon (George) Hoo of Seattle, Washington, Jacqueline Todd

of Sheffield, Alabama, and Angela (Brian) Williams of Sheffield, Alabama;

and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
