Ms. Jessie M. Thomas was born on October
4, 1949, to Robert and Poly Gamble, who both
preceded her in death. Jessie was the oldest of seven
siblings, Robert Gamble, Frank Gamble, Rossetta
Gamble, and Jessie James Gamble, who preceded
her in death, Silla Dixon, and her baby sister, Bertha
Gamble. Jessie had five children, Theresa Thomas,
who preceded her in death, Raymond Thomas,
Shondra Hughes, Corey Thomas, who preceded
her in death, and Courtney Thomas. Jessie has 18
grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren, and a
host of nieces and nephews.
Jessie was the mother of the church. She sang in
the choir. Jessie accepted the Lord at an early age.
She gained her wings on July 22, 2020. Jessie was
loved by many, and she adored her great-grandson,
Marcus Ricks, Jr. A.K.A. Man Man.
