Mrs. Jessiephine Smith Walker, 79

Florence, Alabama

Jessiephine Walker was born on December 6, 1942, to the late
Harrison Smith and Willie P. Smith of Florence, Alabama. She passed
peacefully at her home on August 16, 2022.
She gave her life to Christ at an early age and joined Jerusalem
Missionary Baptist Church of Florence, Alabama, where she served
as a faithful usher for many years.
She was a graduate of West End High School and employed at Reynold/
Wise Alloys for many years until she retired in 2008.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harrison and Willie P.
Smith, and her loving son, Talmadge Smith.
Jessiephine will be lovingly remembered by two grandsons, Miles
Cole of She eld, Alabama, and Drake Smith-Young of Florence,
Alabama; one sister, Martha Ann Smith; three sisters-in-law, Bettie
Smith of Florence, Alabama, Odessa Smith and Virginia Smith, both
of Chicago, Illinois; two special friends, Loretta King and Janice Ford;
many loving Reynold co-workers as well as a host of nieces, nephews,
cousins, and other loved ones who loved her deeply.
