Kalyn T. "Skate" Horrison was born on September 30, 1995, in Florence, Alabama to Angela Kennamore and Thyrow Horrison.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Edna West, S.D. Kennamore, Mary Horrison, and Nevolunt Horrison.

Kalyn was a loving son, brother, and father. He was a 2015 Graduate of Florence High School.

He leaves the following to cherish his memories: Parents, Angela Kennamore of Florence, Alabama, Thyrow (Shalonda) Horrison of Sheffield, Alabama; two daughters, Karmen Horrison and Kennedi Williams; one son, Kylan Horrison all of Florence, Alabama; five sisters, Kiana Kennamore of Birmingham, Alabama, Tyler Horrison of Hillsboro, Alabama, Myia Davis of Sheffield, Alabama, LaTara "Tanky" Horrison of Muscle Shoals, Alabama, Tessa Bowling of Tuscumbia, Alabama; three brothers; LaMarcus "Lilman" Ricks, Jr. of Florence, Alabama, Kendrick Horrison of Hillsboro, Alabama, Demonte' Horrison of Tuscumbia, Alabama, a special friend, Deztiney King and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
