Lola Allen Carroll was born on December 20, 1941 to the late Oscar Allen and Mary F.B.Jones. She departed this life on March 26, 2015. She was preceded in the death by her parents ; two sons, Trendale Bailey, Andrew Allen; two brothers, Henry and Gladys Allen; two sisters, Rachel Spangler, and Ruth Fitzgerald. Lola confessed hope in Christ at an early age and joined Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church. She was a faithful member there for many years. She later joined Pillar of Truth Church of God in Christ , where she was devoted to serving her Savior and being an upstanding Mother, teaching young females to become upstanding ladies. She loved her children and grandchildren. She was strict and made sure they had a relationship with Christ. Her message to them was to believe and depend on Him. She was one who prayed diligently for everyone. She was definitely a woman who was ALWAYS there for family. Mother Carroll attended Courtland Colored School. She also attended Calhoun Community College where she received her certificate for Caregiving. She was a member of the Southern Rural Health Care Board and provided her assistance in health care for several years. Her life, memories, smile and her willingness to help others will be remembered by two daughters, Stephanie Allen, Shennika(Steven) Irons; two sons, Trent Bailey, Willie Bailey; one nephew, Jerome Allen; one great-nephew Jarnauess(Miranda) Allen both whom she raised as sons; one devoted foster son, Charles Ingram; fourteen grandchildren, Antares Washington ,Quanazia Pettway, Kaleel Hampton, Torea Bailey, Tyler Irons, Emory Irons, Minnekia Goode, Jermorris Goode, Denise Horn, Jakobi Langham, Justin Langham, Lilah Breeding, Isiah Allen, Robinette(Ira)Jones, Vicky(Lynnwood)Fuqua, Deetra (Earl) Fitchard, Latoya Coffee, Kimberly McGee, Julia(Andrew)Willard, Mary Spangler, Chiquitta(Larry) Barrett, Nicole(Paul)Mason,; a lifetime friend, Lucy Jarmon; two sisters-in-law, Dorothy Jones, Louise Allen; three devoted cousins, Jane Davis, Sammel and Essie Jones.
