Margaret Alice Vinson was born April 4, 1924. She departed this life peacefully on Saturday, November 23, 2024. Margaret accepted Christ at an early age and was a lifelong Christian. She was a devoted member at Gaston Chapel P.B. Church, Sheffield, Alabama.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Velma (Vinson) Allen; father, Happy Vinson; one brother, Hammett Vinson; one daughter, Vivian Hallman Ford; two sons, Ellis Hallman and Roderick Vinson; and two granddaughters, LaGrounda Renee Ford Lewis and Tonya Hallman.

She leaves to cherish her memories: two daughters, Mary (James) Hallman Smithers of Muscle Shoals, Alabama, and Brenda (William) Vinson Foster of Dublin, Georgia; two sons, Larry (Angela) Vinson and Reginald Vinson, both of Sheffield, Alabama; nine grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; three great–great-grandchildren; a special niece, Dorothy Crawley of Muscle Shoals, Alabama; two devoted cousins, Linda Armstrong Croff of Flint, Michigan, and Janice Williams of Ypsilanti, Michigan; and a host of other family and friends.
