PRIVATE FUNERAL SERVICE:

Mr. Marquise Corday Long entered this world on July 23, 1992, and departed on March 17, 2021.

He was the last born son of Rickey Long and Nikki Tompkins. He was baptized at a young age at Cave Springs Baptist Church. He was a graduate of Colbert County High School, class of 2011. Mr. Long obtained four trade degrees from North West Shoals Community College. He was employed at Project XYZ.

Mr. Long was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Willie B. and Helen Long, maternal grandfather, Thomas Green Nicholson, and his brother, Dallion Long.

He was survived by his mother, Nikki Tompkins (Anthony); father, Rickey Long (Chapronica); three sons, Ezra Long (mother, Julia), Elijah Long (mother, Meyasha), and Marquise Long, Jr. (unborn son, Meyasha); one daughter, Evee Long (mother, Meyasha); six sisters, Lakisha Benjamin, Nina Nicholson, Debony Jones, Lesha Long, Shanequa Wade (Reginald), and Antria Tompkins; two brothers, Anthony Tompkins,
Jr., and Sergio Goodloe; a special uncle, William Jake Coleman; and a host of aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces,
and cousins.
