Marsha Simpson's journey began on December 1, 1961, in

Florence, Alabama. She was gifted to Jim Ella Jones & Albert

Simpson as the first of many children.

Marsha was called home on Tuesday, November 19, 2019,

at Helen Keller Hospital in Sheffield, Alabama, surrounded

by her devoted family.

She loved singing, dancing, and cooking. She was passionate about her family and madly in love

with Jesus Christ.

Marsha was blessed and highly favored.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Jim Ella Jones and Albert Simpson, her daughter,

LaKiesha Simpson, and sisters, Cheryl Barnett and Lenita Barnett.

Marsha leaves behind to cherish her memories: two grandchildren, Terrell Clayton Brown,

Jr., and Jamesha Aaliyah Michelle Donley; sisters, Justina Louise (Kim) White and Clarissa

(Bradley) Armstead, both of Florence, Alabama, and Michelle and Erica Barnett of Columbus,

Ohio; brothers, Albert Simpson, Sr., and Eric Jones, both of Florence, Alabama, and Ronald

and Gary Napier of Columbus, Ohio; nieces and nephews, LaKedra Armstead, Joshua and

Mia Simpson, and Albert Simpson, Jr., all of Florence, Alabama, Justin Patterson of Athens,

Alabama, Dayjah Davis, E'shaunti Barnett, and Shaylin Williams, all of Columbus, Ohio,

Khalil Baugh of Muscle Shoals, Alabama, and Danilo Jones of Nashville, Tennessee; and three

special great-nieces, Aariyah "Mac" Ricks, Adalynn Simpson, and Heidi Gibson, all of Florence,

Alabama.
