Martha Lee Kirkman, born in Florence, Alabama in 1955, was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and faithful servant of God whose life reflected grace, strength, and unwavering faith. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joe Nathan Kirkman; precious daughter, Cathlean Nicole Kirkman; mother, Katherine Murphy Thompson; father, Joseph Odell Noel; and brother, Robert Turner, Jr.

She leaves to cherish her beautiful memory: her loving children, Towana and John Coffee, Percy and Latiffany Russell, Joseph and Sarah Kirkman, and her bonus daughter, Deja Moore. She was a proud and loving grandmother to seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren who were the light of her life.

She is also lovingly remembered by her siblings, Rosie Marie Turner, Willie Lee Turner, William Al Howell, and Jesse Lee Howell. She also has an extension of siblings located in New Jersey, along with a host of devoted cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and dear friends who will forever carry her spirit in their hearts.

Martha was a faithful and God-fearing woman who found great joy in serving at St. James Missionary Baptist Church. She lifted her voice in praise as a dedicated choir and praise team member, blessing many with her song. Gifted with talented hands and a creative heart, she expressed her love through sewing and designing beautiful outfits that reflected her warmth and artistry.

Her legacy of faith, love, and creativity will live on in all who knew and loved her.
