There are many things in life that we cannot understand but we must trust God's judgment and be guided by his hand. All who have God's blessings can rest safely in His care for He promises us "safe passage on the wings of faith and prayer."

Mrs. Maudie Reba Allen Bailey was born June 8, 1937 in Greenhill, Alabama to the late James Presley Allen and Carrie Lee Allen. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She united in marriage to Mr. Tommie Bailey, Jr. on September 30, 1968. Her husband and eight siblings preceded her in death. She departed this life Thursday morning February 18, 2016.

She leaves to cherish her memories: Two daughters: Shirley (Howard) Caperton and Geneva (Kenneth) Todd. Two Sons: Earl Allen and Freddie (Lynne) Bailey. Two granddaughters: Denice Bailey and Deyanda Bailey. One grandson:Shannon Thompson. Three great grandsons: Laquez Thompson, Malik Thompson, Brenton Thompson. One Great, Great grandson Gaige Thompson Five Step-daughters Julia Turner, Bertha Hicks, Ruby Bailey, Evylenia Bailey, Betty Carson. Two Step-sons: Alexander Bailey and Tommie Bailey, Jr. Two Sister: Mary McClain and Katherine Allen. One Brother: Howard Allen, One Sister-in-Law: Lucille Allen. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
