Mayetta "Marie" Weakley was born on November 28, 1983, to her mother, Alice Murphy and father,  Claudell Weakley Sr. in Florence, AL at Eliza Coffee Memorial  Hospital. She departed this life peacefully and was surrounded by family at her home on September 23, 2021. Mayetta "Marie" accepted Christ at a very young age and was a devoted member of Browns Temple CME  Church until her passing.

Mayetta "Marie" also graduated from Bradshaw High School, class of 2003

She especially enjoyed spending time with family, her children, taking road trips with her mother to go shopping, playing phase 10, watching Golden Girls, Coming Too America, The Five Heartbeats, and reading the word of God.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents: Sarah Mae and Tommy Weakley, Raymond Summerhill (Doris) and Mary Summerhill

She leaves to cherish her memories: Her beloved children who were her everything: Aaniyiah King, Syncere Hudson, Christian Pozo-Rocha.

Her nieces and nephews: Denigel Cole, Raelynn Weakley, Jamiyah Ingram, and Joi Pearson A special aunt: Sheria Burge Two Special cousins who were like sisters to her: Michele Jackson, Shelia Franklin And a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends
