Mr. McKinley Turner Southern was born on January 8, 1951 to the late Frank Southern and Ruby Mary Richardson. On Thursday, November 2, 2023 he departed this earthly life at the age of 72 at North Alabama Medical Center in Florence, Alabama. He confessed his life to Christ at an early age at Mt. Zion Primitive Baptist Church.

McKinley was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. Frank Southern and Ms. Ruby Mary Richardson; Son; Terrance Irons, Brothers; Robert Louis Dixon (Bumblebee) and Harry Frank Southern, Sisters; Bobbie Jean Nance, Annie Pearl Turner and Lena Ruth Richardson Green.

McKinley leaves to cherish his loving memories: Daughters; Letitia Yvette Edwards and Shayla Hankins Southern, Brother; Richard Edd Turner (Glenda), Sister; Mary Louis Thomas, Sister-In-Law; Kiwana Southern, Special Niece; Clara Childress. A host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and friends.
