Melburn Jeanette Shipley Rowell, 65 entered into eternal peace on Saturday July 11, 2015 at Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital, Florence, Alabama. Jeanette was born April 8th, 1950, a daughter of the late Allen James and Edna Louise Shipley. She received her education at Burrell Slater School, Florence, Albama. Jeanette confessed her belief in Christ at an early age and was a member of Greater St. Paul AME Church. She was preceded in death by her daughter Jennifer Beckwith, Grandparents Edgar and Orlando Shipley; Frank and Francis Price, two brothers Allen James Shipley, Jr. and Calvin Shipley. She leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her loving children; Courtney(Regina) Shipley, Florence, Alabama; Quincey Beckwith (Fred), Birmingham, Alabama; Pamela Wilson, Madison, Alabama; Lacretta (Nekia) Kier, Birmingham, Alabama; Patton(Keianna)Shipley, Florence, Alabama; Passion (Michael) Jordan, Florence, Alabama. Seventeen grandchildren: Alacdair Scott,Danyeil(Brittany)Beckwith, Antonio Beckwith, Blake Watkins, Calvin Beckwith, Regaine Watkins, Denzel Brown, Karis Gilbert, Detorrius Shipley, Taric Johnson,ReShundus Anderson,Shaniya Shipley, Sirenity Jordan, Kobe Wilson, Paettin Shipley, Brieslyn Shipley and Kaliyah Jordan; Six great-grandchildren: Jaylen Anderson, Danyeil Beckwith, Jr., Logan Watkins, Alasia Brown, Elijah Elrod ,and Da'Shawn Banks, Jr..Three sisters: Frances(Henry) Simpson, JoAnn(Golden)Armstead and Gail(Robert)Gamble, One brother: William Shipley, Sister-in-law, Elizabeth Shipley, devoted Aunt, Georgia Price McCall ; Uncles: Frank(Marva) Price and John(Geneva)Price.
