Mollie Bell Barnett was born on June 22,
1943 in Tuscumbia, Alabama, to the late Edgar Bair
Shaw and Leona Shaw.

She departed this life to be with the Lord on January 19,
2022.

She gave her life to Christ and was baptized at an early
age.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, and to all who
knew her.

She was a member of Everdale Missionary Baptist Church
Sheffield, Alabama. She was an active and dedicated
member of the church.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Sallie Hubbard
and Allene Moore; two brothers, Charles Shaw and Willie
Fred Shaw; one great grandson, Lante Nalls; nephews,
L.B. Hubbard and Ray Hubbard; niece, JoAnne Allen;
one great-great nephew, Kaiden Garner.

She leaves to cherish her memories, five devoted children,
one daughter, Regina Barnett (Hanson) of Tuscumbia,
Alabama, four sons, Jimmie Shaw (Wanda) of Leighton,
Alabama, Michael Shaw, William Barnett Jr., and Israel
Barnett of Tuscumbia, Alabama; two sisters, Minnie
Barnett of Tuscumbia, Alabama, and Mae Pearl (Clint) of
Tuskegee, Alabama; one brother, Reverend Edgar Shaw
(Alvie Lee) of Tuscumbia, Alabama; eight grandchildren;
and 12 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren;
a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
