Ollis Craig Welch's Obituary
Mr. Ollis Craig Welch was born September 25,1954, to the union of Mr. Malchi and Gurnice Welch in Lawrence County of Spring Hill, Tennessee.
Ollis Craig was a graduate of Sheffield High School. He accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at a very early age at Calvary Missionary Baptist Church. He was employed in the medical field at the local hospital, nursing home, and in private care.
He was preceded in death by grandson, Ollis Craig III.
He leaves to cherish his memory: one daughter, Bridgette Welch of Nashville, Tennessee; three sons, Ollis Craig Welch, Jr. (Rasheeda) of Nashville, Tennessee, Nicholas (Erin) Harden of Leighton, Alabama; wife Betty Welch of Nashville, Tennessee; ten grandchildren, Jayden, Craig IV, Jamir, Tyler, Trey, Kailyn, Devoney, Khali, James and Kemel; parents, Malchi and Gurnice Welch of Sheffield, Alabama; five sisters, Claudia (Odella) Madden, Brenda (James) Farmer, Shirley (Thomas) Ricks, Gloria (Ronald) True, and Sandra (Norris) Ricks; one brother, Larry Welch; four aunts; two uncles; nieces and nephews; special friends, Blake Aycock, Carolyn Harden and Jean Cal; special family friend, Mrs. Grace Matthew; and other relatives and friends.
