Patricia Yvonne Davis' Obituary
Patricia "Pat" Davis, 69, departed this life peacefully at home on September 11, 2016 after an extended illness. Pat attended W.C. Handy Elementary and Burrell High School in Florence but Graduated from Hirsch High School in Chicago. Pat migrated to California as an assembly technician until health conditions forced her into early retirement and back to her child- hood home in Florence.
Pat was preceded in death by Marvin Davis (father) and Julia Harris (mother).
She leaves to cherish her memory, her devoted sister Janis Brown and best friend Kender (Caron) Steele.
The family wishes to extend heartfelt thanks to the wonderful staff at ECM, Mitchell Hollingsworth Rehab, Good Samaritan Hospice, Mrs. Bertha Beck, and family, Mrs. Maudie Steele, and family, and other caring friends for all the acts of kindness shown during Pat's journey home.
