Pearline Powers accepted Christ at an early age and joined Mt. Olievia Missionary Baptist Church, where she was a faithful member until her health failed.  Pearline graduated from Leighton Training School in 1968.  She was a retired seamstress.

She leaves to cherish her memories: a devoted husband and caregiver of 49 years, Roy Powers; one daughter, Gwendolyn Powers Jones, of Leighton, Alabama; one son, Michael Powers of Florence, Alabama; her mother, Lula Williams of Tuscumbia, Alabama; sisters, Mary Harris of Atlanta, Georgia, Mary Dean Hughes of Muscle Shoals, Alabama; June Bennett and Norma Jean Bean of Florence, Alabama, Teresa Stitt of Saginaw, Michigan, Peggy (Ben) Amos of Nashville, Tennessee, Cassandra Williams, of Montgomery, Alabama, and Marie Williams of Tuscumbia, Alabama; brothers, Percy Hardinett of Mufreesboro, Tennessee, Thomas Hardinett of Hattiesburg , Mississippi, Michael Hardinett of Florence, Alabama, Donald (Rhonda)  Hardinett  of Nashville, Tennessee, Johnson (Sonny) Williams and Donald Billbrue of Tuscumbia, Alabama, and Rondald Billbrue of Atlanta, Georgia; grandchildren, Jaylon and Desmond Powers, Kasey Jones, LaJasmine Wright, Dominique Abernathy, MaKayla and LaJordan Thompson, Mijaya Branch, and Mylaya Harris; four great-grandchildren; brothers-in-laws, Thomas (Mercedes) Powers of Paducah, Kentucky, Charles (Cheryl) Powers of Cheltenham, Maryland, and Anthony (Gweneth) Powers of Fultondale, Alabama; sisters-in-laws, Susie (Dennis) Gray of Paducah, Kentucky and Carolyn (Randy) Williams of Fultondale, Alabama; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friend.

Pearline was preceded in death by her father, Pertie Hardinett; sister, Sandra Williams, and grand-daughter, LaPresia Chanell Powers.
