Mrs. Peggy Stewart Dixon was born March 17, 1931 to the late William Stewart Sr. and Mrs. Ruth Townsend Stewart. Peggy was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years Mr. J.C. Dixon; 2 brothers William Stewart Jr., Kenneth Stewart and one sister Mrs. Lena Ruth Oakley.

Peggy was a member of Mt. Moriah P.B. Church and attended faithfully until her health failed her. Peggy was a former Sunday School Teacher, Senior Choir Member, Missionary Society Member and Love Ministry Member. Peggy was a member of the Florence Bible Band. Peggy completed her education after raising her family and graduated in 1982.

Peggy leaves to cherish her memories, seven daughters: Jacqueline Carroll, Marion Jordan, Emily Peters, Donna Woods, Linda Dixon, Joan Jackson and Margaret Dixon; one son: Johnny (Ann) Dixon, Jr.; Two Sisters-in-laws: Dr. Alma Bland and Mrs. Geraldine (Hence) Cole; Peggy leaves behind five generations which consist of 20 Grandchildren and their off springs. Peggy has a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. A special friend Ms. Eddie Bessie Crayton. Mrs. Dixon was loved by many and we thank God for them.
