Rebecca Anderson was born May 1, 1929 in Florence, Alabama to the union of the late Johnny and Parthenia Simpson. Rebecca confessed her belief in Christ and was baptized. She joined Rock Primitive Baptist Church in Florence, Alabama where she attended faithfully until her health declined. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Anderson Sr.,:two daughters, Regina Anderson and Barbara Hooks; two sons, Nelson " Dennis" and Robert " Bubba" Anderson Jr,. Rebecca departed this life on Saturday, March 21,2015 at her residence. She leaves to cherish her memories three daughters: Charliestean (Richard) Chandler, Janette Russell and Valarie (Oscar) Woods; daughter-in- law, Ruth Anderson; a loving and caring nephew, Deacon Henry Simpson, Jr.,; her favorite cousin, Deacon Alcean Simpson Sr.,; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
