Mr. Richard Samuel Beasley Sr., was born on November 8, 1952. He departed this earthly life on Sunday, August9, 2015 at Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital, Florence, Alabama. Richard attended Burrell Slater High School. He was a member and served on the usher board at Revival Center Church of God in Christ.He worked at Ryan's Restaurant for many years. He was an artist, a hard worker, and loved throwing horse shoes. Richard labored in many areas throughout his community. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rebecca and Jack Polk, and one brother, Fred Beasley. He leaves to cherish his memories: three daughters, Anekia Beasley, Kenya(Duane) Wizzard, and Demetria(Geffrey) Love; one son, Marko Beasley; two brothers, Oscar Ray( Barbara) Polk and Jack( Phylis) Polk; two sisters, Olivia(Freddee)Crowell and Wilma(Dr. Truman) Graves; close friends, Donna Fitzpatrick, Jackie Stanley, Brenda Heard, Lowelett Henry, and Shirley Kelly Goodloe, two granddaughters; four grandsons; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
