Robert "Bobby" Lawerance Bridgeman was born August 16,
1943, in Chattanooga, Tennessee, to the late Olivia Gay and Lawerance
Bridgeman. He was a faithful member of Cherokee Church of Christ
where he served as financial secretary, groundskeeper, and custodian.
He graduated from Froebel School in Gary, Indiana, with the class of
1962.
Bobby was preceded in death by his mother, Olivia Gay; father,
Lawerance Bridgeman; two daughters, Barbette Bolden and Sonya
Spencer; sister, Velma McCaskell; and nephew, Derrick McClinton.
He leaves cherished memories with his wife, Frances Bridgeman;
two daughters, Robin Bridgeman James (John Ballard) of Las Vegas,
Nevada, and Shalonda McClure of Florence, Alabama; son, Ron
Koger (Karla) of Belmont, Mississippi; four granddaughters, Denesha
Armstead, Ariana James, Shantavia McClure, and Kelea Koger;
three grandsons, Darryl Bolden, Kobe Koger, and Kel Koger; three
great-grandchildren, Darryl Bolden III, Zayden Bolden, and Noa
Paige Armstead; brother, Randall Bridgeman; two sisters, Darlyne
Bridgeman and LeAndra Thomas; three brothers-in-law, Alvin Payne
(Tracy), Barry Payne, and Danny Payne; four sisters-in-law, Lauretta
Goodloe, Wanda Thompson, Sherry Koger (Frank), Jennifer Ward
(AL); special cousin and friend, Ricky Taylor (Cherie); and a host of
nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
