Mr. Robert Turner, Jr. was born on February 28, 1953 in Florence, Alabama to the late Katherine Thompson Murphy and to the late Robert Turner, Sr. Robert departed this life on Monday July 18, 2016. Mr.Turner confessed his faith in Christ at an early age. He was a graduate of Bradshaw High School. Mr. Turner attended Muscle Shoals State Technical College in Muscle Shoals, Alabama. He also attended Alabama Christian College in Montgomery, Alabama.
Sergeant Robert Turner, Jr. served in the U.S. Army as an Ammunition Specialist where he served 24 years and also received numerous certificates and achievements for his duty to our country.
He leaves to cherish his memories loving wife Billie D. Turner, Florence, Alabama, five children, Angel Turner, Florence, Alabama, Robert Turner III, Huntsville, Alabama, Startia Turner (fiancé Terriron), Muscle Shoals, Alabama, Roberto Turner (fiancé Shantelle), Savannah, Georgia, and Dyjonn Turner, Florence, Alabama, two grandchildren, Jia'Varyuz Kelley and Day'Mareya Kelley, two sisters: Rosie Macklin, Florence, Alabama, and Martha Kirkman, Florence, Alabama, three brothers: Willie Turner, William Al Howell, Jessie Howell all of Florence, Alabama, grandparents: The late Rosie Etta Beckwith Murphy and Mr. Henry Murphy, Sr. and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
