Rowelle Winston Ray was born on September 18, 1956 in Colbert Count, Alabama. He attended Cherokee High School.
He confessed his life to Christ at an early age and became a member of Nazareth Primitive Baptist Church In Barton, Alabama.
Rowelle was a loving father, a dedicated brother, a trustworthy uncle an a devoted friend. His love for his entire family was displayed in all his efforts to help those that he could.
He was proceeded in death by his mother, Elva May Ray, his father, James Isaac (Sugar) Ray, and his brother Gregory Keith (Greg Key)Ray.
He leaves to cherish his memories one daughter: YaShika Ray of Huntsville, Alabama; three step children: Chris McMasters of Tuscumbia, Alabama; David McMasters of Tishomingo, Mississippi; Sara McMasters of Russellville, Alabama. Three brothers: James Wayne Ray of Center, Alabama; Derrick Qualls and Anthony Qualls of Muscle Shoals, Alabama. Four sisters: Dr. Ruby Jewel (Thomas) Alexander of Harvest, Alabama; Juanita Anderson of Cherokee, Alabama; Deborah (Darren) Saddler of Knoxville, Tennessee; Linda (Stephen) Cain of Muscle Shoals, Alabama. A host of nephews, nieces, cousins, step grandchildren and friends.
