Obituary Mrs. Ruby Lucile Boddie Thompson, affectionately known as "Duck" was born on April 9, 1941. She departed this life on December 28, 2014. She was a member of Greater Zion Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents Thomas O. Boddie and Meadie Oakley Boddie, sister: Arlenda Boddie Mayes, sons: Andrew Bernard Thompson and Mark E. Thompson, Nephew: Thomas A. Mayes. She leaves to cherish her memories: 6 children: Bridgett, David, Roger, Michael, Trenton and Kimberly Thompson; her sister, Lyrabeth B. Gilbert and her aunt, Lucy Mae Irons, 3 nephews, Philip D. Gilbert, Jonathan B. Mayes and John Robert Mayes, 2 nieces. Delvia L . Jones and Jackie O. Benson, and grandchildren along with a host of other relatives and devoted friends.
