Ruth Garner passed away in Stockbridge, Georgia on February 25, 2015 . She was born in Sheffield, Alabama, to the late George and Zepora Wright on the 9th day of May in 1936. Ruth graduated from Sterling High School in 1954. She met and married Andrew Garner on March 3rd 1956, and to that union ,three kids were born. As a loving mother and wife, Ruth dedicated her life to taking care of her family. In her spare time she loved to fish and dance. Ruth was a very caring and giving person. She also had an alter ego, "Gangsta Ruth", who showed after a cocktail or two! Above all, Ruth Garner was one of the best people you would ever want to know. She leaves behind three children, Ferrari, Consetta and Zepora Garner; two brothers; Andrew and Lance Wright; eight grand children: Marty Snell, Porsche, Alexus, Cierra, Kailey and Joshua Garner and Aliyah Allen; four great-grandchildren, Kylahni Demps, Kai and Eli Snell and Serenity Washington; a host of family, friends, sister and brother-in-laws.
