Mr. S.T. Thirlkill was born on January 30, 1939 in Landersville, Alabama. He departed this life on December 9, 2020. S.T. was a true believer in God. He served as a Deacon at his church. He would always give an encouraging word about our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Elmer & Tennie Thirlkill, Mother and Stepfather; Bertha Nell Thirlkill Arnold and Allen Arnold, Sr., Brother; Frazier Stephenson, his wife Irene Welch Thirlkill also preceded him in death in 2011.

He leaves to cherish his memories a daughter and son-in-law; Marilyn Thirlkill (Donald Jackson, Sr.) Jackson of Muscle Shoals, Alabama. Three grandchildren: Derrick Barber, Alaceia Barber and Ashley Barber, Madison, Alabama, Great grandchildren; Ayvia, Alivia, Elijah, Emery and Zari. Two Sisters: Willie Dean Turner and Anna Mae Stephenson, Chicago, Illinois, Two brothers; Newland Stephenson, Chicago Illinois, and Thomas Stephenson, California. One Aunt; Pearlean Little, Muscle Shoals, Alabama, One Uncle; William Welch, Birmingham, Alabama, five sisters in law; Lela Short, Barbara Freeman, Jessie Cowan (Johnny), Glenda Faye Thompson (Dr. Grady, Sr.) Valery Goodloe, six brothers in law; Robert Goodloe, Sr. (Patricia) Charles Goodloe, Simon (Virginia) Goodloe, William (Doris) Goodloe, Empsie (Monita) Goodloe, Jr., Roland (Marieta) Goodloe, Special Cousins; Ethelreen Vinson, Willie Pearl Cooper, Wanda Hill, Priscilla McArthur, Lela Thirlkill.
