Ms. Stephanie Lorraine Allen was born April 6, 1965, to the late Lola Allen and Luther Jarmon. Stephanie was a graduate of Hazelwood High School, class of 1983. She accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at a very early age at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church under the Pastoral guidance of Rev. Elijah Gray, Jr. She served her country in the United States Army.
Stephanie was a very joyful and kind-hearted person. She loved to cook, dance, play cards, karaoke, be a comedian, and was very family-oriented. She was a Junior Olympics official and a former coach of the North Alabama trackers.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Lola Allen, and a brother, Robert Gill.
Stephanie leaves to cherish her: a son, Antaros Washington of Leighton, Alabama; one daughter, Quanazia Pettway of Muscle Shoals, Alabama; one grandson, Rashad Pettway; five sisters, Shennika Allen Irons (Steven), Amberlene Jones (Don), Gloria King of Toledo, Ohio, Theresa Abernathy of Holly Springs, Mississippi, and Pearl Baker (Gary) of Decatur, Alabama; ten brothers, Lydell Bailey of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Willie Bailey of Leighton, Alabama, Luther Jarmon, Jr. (Amelia) of Birmingham, Alabama, Don King of Decatur, Alabama, Ron King (Curlie) Decatur, Alabama, Darryl Jarmon (Nikki) of Muscle Shoals, Alabama, and Marvin Reedus of Courtland, Alabama; two devoted great-nephews, Joseph and Jonah Bailey, one devoted great-niece, Ahriyonne bailey; three aunts, Jane Davis of Cherokee, Alabama, Dorothy Jones of Lexington, Kentucky, and Louise Allen of Louisville, Kentucky; special friend, Harry Whiteside; and devoted friends, Vanessa Hampton, whom she considered as a sister and Charles Ingram.
